The REIV reported 300 auctions over the weekend and an increase in the clearance rate to 75 per cent.
Hocking Stuart’s Nigel O’Neil said he was surprised by the attendances at auctions at the weekend – “a little sunshine and the necessity to get out to vote, combined with lower stock levels obviously contributed to the higher buyer activity”.
